Welcome poetry for a Swiss Executive

Wrote this poem to welcome a swiss executive who came to the India office. Name changed and used only for representational purposes as Andy

Welcome to India Andy
Hope you find it truly incredible and not just one-off

Athithi Devo Bhava*  we say,
But you are our company family member anyway
Mile sur mera Tumhara to sur bane Hamara#

Rolex or Titan** , the time shown is the same
Nestle or Amul***, taste is different they claim

From Deserts in Rajasthan to Coastal areas of West Bengal
From Snow in the north to Rains in the South
There is Diversity in India's climate , and that is the truth

Hindi is our national language, but we speak English too
Along with our roti-Sabzis, we have pizzas and pastas too

We hope to learn from your experience
Your presence here holds a lot of significance
We promise to deliver our best
And learn from our mistakes, not repeat them instead


Willkommen in Indien, I say again
